Narrative:

I was on ILS approach 27 to ipt. The tower told me to report crossing the OM. However, I forgot to report crossing the OM (I was cleared to land later). The main reason I was distracted is because I was picking up moderate clear ice on approach. Although I landed safely, I realize that missing position calls can be very dangerous, and in the future I plan on working harder to maintain situational awareness.

Narrative: I WAS ON ILS APCH 27 TO IPT. THE TWR TOLD ME TO RPT XING THE OM. HOWEVER, I FORGOT TO RPT XING THE OM (I WAS CLRED TO LAND LATER). THE MAIN REASON I WAS DISTRACTED IS BECAUSE I WAS PICKING UP MODERATE CLR ICE ON APCH.
