Narrative:
On descent into ewr, given crossing restr at holly intersection, on warrd arrival, of 11000 ft MSL. First officer inadvertently leveled at 12000 ft MSL. Mistake noticed 3 mi prior to holly intersection and rapid descent made to 11000 ft MSL. Aircraft crossed holly intersection at 11300 ft MSL in the descent. No traffic conflicts encountered.
