Narrative:

After a VOR runway 14 approach into ith, ny, a missed approach was made, followed by an ILS approach to runway 32. A normal approach was made. Tower reported braking action as good by a truck, with visibility of 2 mi. On touchdown, braking action was fair to poor, maximum braking was used but the aircraft's gear departed the runway and a 180 degree turn was used to get back on the runway. No damage to aircraft or injuries.

Narrative: AFTER A VOR RWY 14 APCH INTO ITH, NY, A MISSED APCH WAS MADE, FOLLOWED BY AN ILS APCH TO RWY 32. A NORMAL APCH WAS MADE. TWR RPTED BRAKING ACTION AS GOOD BY A TRUCK, WITH VISIBILITY OF 2 MI. ON TOUCHDOWN, BRAKING ACTION WAS FAIR TO POOR, MAX BRAKING WAS USED BUT THE ACFT'S GEAR DEPARTED THE RWY AND A 180 DEG TURN WAS USED TO GET BACK ON THE RWY. NO DAMAGE TO ACFT OR INJURIES.
