Narrative:

Approaching eqy from southeast on IFR plan, canceled 8-10 mi out, changed to 122.7, called left downwind entry at 45 degrees, left downwind, left base position reports. Seconds before turning final on runway 23, other aircraft appeared to make 45 degree entry to final from a modified right base. Other aircraft had not made any radio calls. Pulled up to avoid other aircraft and made radio call 'aircraft in pattern at monroe you just cut me off.' other pilot responded that he made position calls on 122.8 then corrected himself to 122.7. In frustration I made some 'uncalled for' remarks which caused the other pilot to transmit some 'threats' -- would see me on the ground, etc. Flew missed approach and landed. After parking at fuel pumps the other pilot confronted my passenger (who had deplaned). A more serious confrontation was avoided through intervention by me and FBO lineman.

Title: RPTR IN A TABAGO TB10 MADE A NORMAL L-HAND PATTERN ENTRY AND MADE ALL REQUIRED CALLS ON THE PROPER FREQ. SECOND ACFT, POSSIBLY A PIPER, WAS ON AN ILLEGAL R DOGLEG BASE TO FINAL WHEN AN NMAC OCCURRED. THE RESULTING RADIO REMARKS RESULTED IN A CONFRONTATION AFTER LNDG.

Narrative: APCHING EQY FROM SE ON IFR PLAN, CANCELED 8-10 MI OUT, CHANGED TO 122.7, CALLED L DOWNWIND ENTRY AT 45 DEGS, L DOWNWIND, L BASE POS RPTS. SECONDS BEFORE TURNING FINAL ON RWY 23, OTHER ACFT APPEARED TO MAKE 45 DEG ENTRY TO FINAL FROM A MODIFIED R BASE. OTHER ACFT HAD NOT MADE ANY RADIO CALLS. PULLED UP TO AVOID OTHER ACFT AND MADE RADIO CALL 'ACFT IN PATTERN AT MONROE YOU JUST CUT ME OFF.' OTHER PLT RESPONDED THAT HE MADE POS CALLS ON 122.8 THEN CORRECTED HIMSELF TO 122.7. IN FRUSTRATION I MADE SOME 'UNCALLED FOR' REMARKS WHICH CAUSED THE OTHER PLT TO XMIT SOME 'THREATS' -- WOULD SEE ME ON THE GND, ETC. FLEW MISSED APCH AND LANDED. AFTER PARKING AT FUEL PUMPS THE OTHER PLT CONFRONTED MY PAX (WHO HAD DEPLANED). A MORE SERIOUS CONFRONTATION WAS AVOIDED THROUGH INTERVENTION BY ME AND FBO LINEMAN.
