Narrative:

Flight was operating from san-dtw. We were climbing to FL370. Encountered turbulence approximately FL340-FL345. ZLA asked if we were requesting FL330 or FL370. We asked about the rides and got clearance to FL370. We were handed off to another frequency. When level at FL370 and on the new frequency, the flight crew had thoughts about whether we were originally cleared to FL330 or FL370. ATC didn't make any comments. Possible readback/hearback situation. Supplemental information from acn 357979: approaching FL340, center asked us if we would like FL370. We said we would and continued our climb to FL370. We got the impression maybe we weren't cleared to FL370. We got a frequency change and were not able to pursue the issue.
