Narrative:

We took off and positive rate gear up, main came up, all doors remained open, and nose gear was totally down. I checked pins, doors, and first officer and I both said at the same time, 'nose gear pin.' 'darn, we got to go back.' returned visually to runway 21, returned to the gate. While I called flight control I had first officer check the pins and all the gear just in case nose pin was out. I advised 'I finally did it, left the nose pin out.' flight control advised me, he had to file a report to the FAA. I advised that is ok. Went back to the aircraft, closed the door, and took off for pit uneventful. Completed the flight in 60 mins with the help of ATC to minimize the delay.
