Narrative:

After takeoff from ric airport, I was cleared by tower for a right closed pattern for a touch-and-go landing on runway 20 at ric. During the base turn, I lost visual contact with the runway due to the low wing of the PA28. I had a short distraction and as I rolled out, I had runway 16 in front and slightly right. I mistook runway 16 for runway 20, corrected my pattern, and made the touch-and-go landing. I was advised after the touch-and- go that I had landed on runway 16 by the tower controller. I have been flying a high wing DH8 full time and have only 2 hours of low wing PA28 time in the last 90 days.
