Narrative:

After obtaining landing clearance for runway 19L in las I was on landing rollout when I noticed an aircraft starting to cross the runway in front of me. I brought my aircraft to a halt 300 ft from the other aircraft and queried tower if in fact I was cleared to land. They said yes and I asked about the other aircraft and was told to follow it to parking and contact ground. After contacting ground, I was asked to call the tower. After unloading and securing my aircraft, I called the tower and spoke with the supervisor who said that there was a communication problem in the tower, and that we were not at fault. Vigilance on both pilots parts in each aircraft prevented a serious accident.
