Narrative:
Cleared direct rod, wakem 2 arrival. While intercepting the wakem 2 arrival (046 degree radial rod VOR outbound) center said we're 'off course' and directed a 015 degree heading, at the time I was on the 040 degree radial 15 DME heading 030 degrees to intercept the rod 046 degree radial outbound. Correction: use less lead due to strong wings aloft.

Title: B727 CARGO FLT CLRED DIRECT ROD, WAKEM 2 STAR. WAS HDG 030 DEGS TO INTERCEPT THE 040 RADIAL. CTR QUESTIONED THE FLT AND THE CREW CORRECTED THE RADIAL TO 046 DEGS. STRONG XWIND ALOFT.
