Departure runway at lax, runway 25R. Assigned laxx 2 SID. Cleared to 2000 ft MSL. I neglected to turn to a heading of 220 degrees immediately after crossing the smo 160 degree radial as depicted. Departure control advised me of the failure to make the turn.
