Narrative:

I read back crossing restr on descent of 65 NM south of aml. After the captain set up the FMS, I checked the distance and the captain had set up 55 NM. By the time I discovered this it was too late to make the 65 DME restr. However, the captain still thought the crossing restr was 55 NM, which we made. Due to ATC congestion, I was unable to clarify with ATC.

Title: POSSIBLE ALTDEV ALT UNDERSHOT IN DSCNT. ALT XING RESTR NOT MET. NON ADHERENCE TO ATC CLRNC INSTRUCTION.

Narrative: I READ BACK XING RESTR ON DSCNT OF 65 NM S OF AML. AFTER THE CAPT SET UP THE FMS, I CHKED THE DISTANCE AND THE CAPT HAD SET UP 55 NM. BY THE TIME I DISCOVERED THIS IT WAS TOO LATE TO MAKE THE 65 DME RESTR. HOWEVER, THE CAPT STILL THOUGHT THE XING RESTR WAS 55 NM, WHICH WE MADE. DUE TO ATC CONGESTION, I WAS UNABLE TO CLARIFY WITH ATC.
