Narrative:

ATC facility: ord approach control. Location: ord 180-020. Aircraft was cleared to descend to 7000 ft MSL. At approximately 1000 ft above a heading change was issued. The PF anticipated further descent clearance with this call and inadvertently descended below the assigned altitude by approximately 300 ft. The PF immediately recovered the aircraft to the assigned altitude of 7000 ft MSL.
