Narrative:

During cruise flight passenger X informed flight attendant he had only half of his seat belt assembly. One side of seat belt assembly was missing. All seats were full and no demonstration belts were available to use parts from. Unknown to me, the demonstration belts had already been used to replace missing seat belt parts. I removed 1 of the cockpit jump seat seat belt sets and attached them into seat X. Also briefed the passenger on how to use this assembly. I asked the passenger why he did not mention the missing belt to a flight attendant prior to departure and he told me that he did not want to delay the flight.
