Narrative:

On long distance vector, center gave us a heading to 085 degrees. We read back and complied. Several mins later, center inquired as to our heading. We repeated still on 085 degrees. Center stated the vector was for a 055 degree heading. At that time center gave us a 050 degree heading and we complied. Supplemental information from acn 350561: I do remember being on long range vectors for that flight and on one of our flts this month we got a vector that seemed off. We commented about it, and then later on were corrected back. But the 085 and 055 degree headings might not be right as cle to dfw is a southwest heading.

Narrative: ON LONG DISTANCE VECTOR, CTR GAVE US A HDG TO 085 DEGS. WE READ BACK AND COMPLIED. SEVERAL MINS LATER, CTR INQUIRED AS TO OUR HDG. WE REPEATED STILL ON 085 DEGS. CTR STATED THE VECTOR WAS FOR A 055 DEG HDG. AT THAT TIME CTR GAVE US A 050 DEG HDG AND WE COMPLIED. SUPPLEMENTAL INFO FROM ACN 350561: I DO REMEMBER BEING ON LONG RANGE VECTORS FOR THAT FLT AND ON ONE OF OUR FLTS THIS MONTH WE GOT A VECTOR THAT SEEMED OFF. WE COMMENTED ABOUT IT, AND THEN LATER ON WERE CORRECTED BACK. BUT THE 085 AND 055 DEG HDGS MIGHT NOT BE RIGHT AS CLE TO DFW IS A SW HDG.
