Narrative:

Line up on wrong runway. ATC facility: dfw tower. Location: final approach for runway 17C. We were cleared for a visual to runway 17L at dfw. WX was VFR. We flew through final on runway 17L and rolled out on runway 17C. We realized our mistake as tower asked us what runway we were lined up on. We corrected back to runway 17L and landing was uneventful. We talked about our error later and thought that the recent change in runway designations may have contributed to our error.
