Narrative:

Shortly after rotation we felt and heard bumping sounds and saw right engine EPR surging and other engine indications fluctuating considerably. We declared an emergency and secured the engine using the engine fire/severe damage or separation checklist. We came around VMC and landed. Narrative: SHORTLY AFTER ROTATION WE FELT AND HEARD BUMPING SOUNDS AND SAW R ENG EPR SURGING AND OTHER ENG INDICATIONS FLUCTUATING CONSIDERABLY.
