Narrative:
Due to the limited radar coverage in the swf sector at ZBW I was not able to effectively provide 'traffic alert' information to air carrier X. Air carrier X was sbound on V489 over the lemor intersection at 6000 ft. I observed a VFR target east of V489 wbound at 6500 ft. I then lost the VFR target and advised air carrier X of the last known position, which was about 4 mi east of V489. He then advised me he saw the traffic directly overhead. This situation is a common occurrence in this sector. The solution to this problem is to install the swf ASR-9 radar system onto the host computer at ZBW.

Title: ARTCC RADAR CTLR COMPLAINT ABOUT RADAR COVERAGE AT 6000 FT IN THE AREA OF HUO VOR. WAS TRYING TO GIVE AN ACR E120 TA'S ON A VFR ACFT NEAR THE ACR, BUT LOST RADAR WITH THE VFR ACFT.
Narrative: DUE TO THE LIMITED RADAR COVERAGE IN THE SWF SECTOR AT ZBW I WAS NOT ABLE TO EFFECTIVELY PROVIDE 'TFC ALERT' INFO TO ACR X. ACR X WAS SBOUND ON V489 OVER THE LEMOR INTXN AT 6000 FT. I OBSERVED A VFR TARGET E OF V489 WBOUND AT 6500 FT. I THEN LOST THE VFR TARGET AND ADVISED ACR X OF THE LAST KNOWN POS, WHICH WAS ABOUT 4 MI E OF V489. HE THEN ADVISED ME HE SAW THE TFC DIRECTLY OVERHEAD. THIS SIT IS A COMMON OCCURRENCE IN THIS SECTOR. THE SOLUTION TO THIS PROB IS TO INSTALL THE SWF ASR-9 RADAR SYS ONTO THE HOST COMPUTER AT ZBW.
