Narrative:

During walkaround preflight inspection copilot found evidence of bird strikes on right flaps. He notified maintenance personnel who were on the ramp. Maintenance at that time said they would need to lower flaps for further inspection. Copilot returned to cockpit to finish duties. Maintenance then stood outside to the right of aircraft and notified copilot to lower flaps. While flaps were being extended, the leading edge device struck a fuel truck positioned under the right wing. Maintenance immediately notified the copilot to bring the flaps up, which he did. No injuries occurred. The aircraft leading edge device on the right was damaged just above fueling panel.
