Narrative:
While performing OJT duties, air carrier X was climbing wbound to 6000 ft MSL. Small aircraft Y was descending to 4000 ft MSL nebound. Automation problems with another aircraft and a large volume of interfacility coordination diverted our attention and a legal loss of separation occurred between said aircraft.
