Narrative:
En route from springfield, mo, to jefferson city, mo. Asked for and received flight following with ZKC 128.6. Received a squawk code. I continued on course and heard no further information from them for a while so I tried calling back about 3 times. Received no answer. Kept frequency and squawk till I was about 25 mi from jefferson city and then changed transponder and called jefferson tower. They never canceled or told me to change frequencys as far as I know.

Narrative: ENRTE FROM SPRINGFIELD, MO, TO JEFFERSON CITY, MO. ASKED FOR AND RECEIVED FLT FOLLOWING WITH ZKC 128.6. RECEIVED A SQUAWK CODE. I CONTINUED ON COURSE AND HEARD NO FURTHER INFO FROM THEM FOR A WHILE SO I TRIED CALLING BACK ABOUT 3 TIMES. RECEIVED NO ANSWER. KEPT FREQ AND SQUAWK TILL I WAS ABOUT 25 MI FROM JEFFERSON CITY AND THEN CHANGED XPONDER AND CALLED JEFFERSON TWR. THEY NEVER CANCELED OR TOLD ME TO CHANGE FREQS AS FAR AS I KNOW.
