Narrative:

The problem arose because of high usage of airplanes with a low percentage of spare airplanes and parts. I was the third captain to refuse to fly this airplane because of leading edge damage to the right propeller. This is the hamilton standard 14RF-9 that has many airworthy directives and has killed numerous innocent people. After 3 refusals to fly this airplane by 3 different capts, the company still tried to get me to fly the airplane. I still refused. They finally canceled my flight and changed the affected propeller blades. I feel as though these 'implied intimidation tactics' by management should be investigated. It is a major safety factor.
