Location: bpr/310/50. Cleared to cross 50 NM northwest bpr at FL240. Blue ridge vice bridgeport was incorrectly used as a NAVAID for DME. We reached 50 NM northwest bpr at FL330 vice FL240. At that point we were cleared to 17000 ft for uneventful approach and landing.
