Narrative:
Was told by ATC to cross 15 mi north of rod at 11000 ft, we thought 15 mi north at 15000 ft. When reminded by ATC altitude was supposed to be 11000 ft we descended to 11000 ft and made it within 12 NM or so north. ATC said no problem and no conflicts of traffic occurred.
