Narrative:
While climbing out of mco, departure cleared us to initial altitude 7000 ft or 8000 ft. First officer was hand flying aircraft. ATC then gave us a revised routing, first officer then programmed FMC while I was on the radio. Climbed 300 ft through assigned altitude. No conflict.

Narrative: WHILE CLBING OUT OF MCO, DEP CLRED US TO INITIAL ALT 7000 FT OR 8000 FT. FO WAS HAND FLYING ACFT. ATC THEN GAVE US A REVISED ROUTING, FO THEN PROGRAMMED FMC WHILE I WAS ON THE RADIO. CLBED 300 FT THROUGH ASSIGNED ALT. NO CONFLICT.
