Narrative:

Approximately 1500 ft MSL pressurization loss. Return to mke to investigate. Found aft cargo door open. Aft cargo warning light out in cockpit. B737 has problem with design on door warning housing being damaged by cargo loading. It is not reinforced (strong enough to withstand housing being hit by cargo/baggage handlers). My company has a procedure to check light while baggage is loaded. This procedure does not ensure door is closed since warning light housing can be damaged anytime during loading operation. A redesign is necessary in my opinion. I could cause aft cargo light to go on or off by moving housing with my hand.
