Narrative:

After landing on runway 25L at lax turned off at highspd turnoff 'M.' we were cleared to exit the runway and hold short of runway 25R. By the time I stopped the aircraft I realized I had crossed the hold line for runway 25R. As it is a very short distance between runways you reach the hold line for runway 25R in a very short distance and time after exiting. I believe that if the hold line was lighted as it is at many other airports it would have stood out better making it visible at an earlier time when exiting. Supplemental information from acn 330204: we made the high speed turnoff at 'M' at a good rate of speed and by the time we realized where the hold short line for runway 25R was located we had crossed it with the nose of the aircraft.

Narrative: AFTER LNDG ON RWY 25L AT LAX TURNED OFF AT HIGHSPD TURNOFF 'M.' WE WERE CLRED TO EXIT THE RWY AND HOLD SHORT OF RWY 25R. BY THE TIME I STOPPED THE ACFT I REALIZED I HAD CROSSED THE HOLD LINE FOR RWY 25R. AS IT IS A VERY SHORT DISTANCE BTWN RWYS YOU REACH THE HOLD LINE FOR RWY 25R IN A VERY SHORT DISTANCE AND TIME AFTER EXITING. I BELIEVE THAT IF THE HOLD LINE WAS LIGHTED AS IT IS AT MANY OTHER ARPTS IT WOULD HAVE STOOD OUT BETTER MAKING IT VISIBLE AT AN EARLIER TIME WHEN EXITING. SUPPLEMENTAL INFO FROM ACN 330204: WE MADE THE HIGH SPD TURNOFF AT 'M' AT A GOOD RATE OF SPD AND BY THE TIME WE REALIZED WHERE THE HOLD SHORT LINE FOR RWY 25R WAS LOCATED WE HAD CROSSED IT WITH THE NOSE OF THE ACFT.
