The flight crew commenced flight direct to sav when cleared to sav via the SID. Center alerted the crew to get back on the SID which they did. The crew noticed that the FMS had dropped the SID from the routing to sav.

Narrative:

Cleared to intercept mccoy 3 SID, sav transition. Somehow SID was dropped out of FMS and we intercepted course direct to sav. ZJX caught error and told us to turn 25 degrees left to intercept the SID.
