Narrative:

I have been flying the B757 for the past 18 months. During that time I have seen the speed brake left out at least 12 times. The B757 is so clean that when the crew gets busy we forget that the boards are out. We crashed 3 A10 attack jets with the speed brakes inadvertently left out before the military finally put an aural warning on the aircraft. In the A300 we had a speed brake light and I never saw the speed brake left out like I do on this aircraft. We all feel bad about what happened. If there is a problem, let's fix it.
