Narrative:

Upon landing in roc (runway 22), at approximately 90-100 KTS, the first officer and myself saw 2 deer standing on the runway. One deer was located on the centerline and the other approximately 15 ft left of center. Impact was heard seconds later. Impact was reported to roc tower. Aircraft steering and braking were normal. Engine idle was normal. Taxied to the gate. Upon inspection blood and fur covered nosegear, lower antenna, and lower fuselage, left engine cowling was dented and a deer head was found in #1 engine.

Title: RPTR IMPACTS DEER ON THE RWY DURING LNDG ROLL.

Narrative: UPON LNDG IN ROC (RWY 22), AT APPROX 90-100 KTS, THE FO AND MYSELF SAW 2 DEER STANDING ON THE RWY. ONE DEER WAS LOCATED ON THE CTRLINE AND THE OTHER APPROX 15 FT L OF CTR. IMPACT WAS HEARD SECONDS LATER. IMPACT WAS RPTED TO ROC TWR. ACFT STEERING AND BRAKING WERE NORMAL. ENG IDLE WAS NORMAL. TAXIED TO THE GATE. UPON INSPECTION BLOOD AND FUR COVERED NOSEGEAR, LOWER ANTENNA, AND LOWER FUSELAGE, L ENG COWLING WAS DENTED AND A DEER HEAD WAS FOUND IN #1 ENG.
