We reported air carrier Z in sight and were told to follow him, cleared for the visual runway 25L. When air carrier Z entered the clouds, we went missed, being unable to see air carrier Z or the airport due to clouds.

Narrative: WE RPTED ACR Z IN SIGHT AND WERE TOLD TO FOLLOW HIM, CLRED FOR THE VISUAL RWY 25L. WHEN ACR Z ENTERED THE CLOUDS, WE WENT MISSED, BEING UNABLE TO SEE ACR Z OR THE ARPT DUE TO CLOUDS.
