Narrative:

This was an uneventful landing on runway 17 at sdf. However, there was a company NOTAM not to use runway 17 until further notice. This is a new runway, and apparently there was no performance data in existence. The problem is, first, I didn't see the NOTAM, second runway 17 was the active runway, issued on ATIS and assigned by approach control. Additionally runway 17 was in our FMC database and we also had the approach charts for runway 17. It wasn't until we were preparing to depart sdf that I saw the NOTAM on runway 17. On taxi out tower assigned runway 17. It took 3 requests for runway 19 before runway 19 was given. I think until the runway is approved, approach charts and FMC data shouldn't be issued.

Narrative: THIS WAS AN UNEVENTFUL LNDG ON RWY 17 AT SDF. HOWEVER, THERE WAS A COMPANY NOTAM NOT TO USE RWY 17 UNTIL FURTHER NOTICE. THIS IS A NEW RWY, AND APPARENTLY THERE WAS NO PERFORMANCE DATA IN EXISTENCE. THE PROB IS, FIRST, I DIDN'T SEE THE NOTAM, SECOND RWY 17 WAS THE ACTIVE RWY, ISSUED ON ATIS AND ASSIGNED BY APCH CTL. ON TAXI OUT TWR ASSIGNED RWY 17. IT TOOK 3 REQUESTS FOR RWY 19 BEFORE RWY 19 WAS GIVEN. I THINK UNTIL THE RWY IS APPROVED, APCH CHARTS AND FMC DATA SHOULDN'T BE ISSUED.
