Narrative:

Captain was flying SID during late night departure. First officer did not review SID and was unaware of right turn at 800 ft (runway 16). When call was made to ny departure, controller asked if we were flying SID and first officer replied yes. Controller asked about why we didn't turn at 800 ft. 2 factors contributed to this deviation. First, crew was tired. Although first leg departed at XI15 pm local, both pilots were up early (first officer at XA15). Did not report to work till approximately XH00 pm local, but day was still long. Not sure of captain's exact schedule. Second, CRM. Captain often flies single pilot and performs similarly when flying with first officer. No challenge/response system. Radio calls about extent of first officer duties and sometimes captain doesn't wait for first officer to change radio frequencys. He also does not usually brief plan of action. Captain not trained extensively in CRM. First officer taught CRM/loft in military. In this case, (and all future departure) first officer should review SID, will keep working at CRM.
