Narrative:

We were descending out of 13000 ft to cross jeney at 12000 ft. Center called climbing traffic at 12:30 - 1 O'clock but they were not in contact with the aircraft. We had the target on TCASII, but had trouble picking it out in the air as it was on almost the same heading as us but slowly merging from right to left. We got a TA followed shortly by an RA, spotted traffic, started climb, told center. Stopped climb at approximately 13500 ft, cleared traffic and descended back to 12000 ft. Good call from center. Good TCASII performance. Traffic appeared to be a light twin.
