Narrative:

Airborne from vny airport, climb at 90 KTS to join corridor, 3500 ft, 132 degree radial smo, at 2400 ft MSL. Heading 150 degrees. Suddenly the lear jet less than 100 ft, horizontal to my right side and 30 ft lower crossed me parallel, then after 100 yard turn gradually 20 degrees to the left, he was at least 80 to 60 KTS faster than me and he did not see me. He joined the base leg for santa monica airport. I called socal on 124.3 then was told to call them on 134.9, so I did. The lear jet overtook me from 6 O'clock.
