Narrative:

WX at boston was clear, wind 350 degrees at 15 KTS. Active runway for departure was runway 9, which is 7000 ft long. Due to the wind and our weight, we needed runway 4R. During the taxi out, we did not pick up the 4 DME restr on the turn to heading 090 degrees, as we went over the SID. Departure control brought it to our attention. We were originally set up for runway 9, and the change in runway for departure resulted in our making the error.
