Narrative:

Student receiving instruction in lndgs. Previous touch- and-go was a 'bounced landing' so I was concentrating on flaring. Previous xwinds were 5 KTS, but had increased to 8-10 KTS. Aircraft landed left of centerline with left drift on runway 9, ryy. Right wheel touched down first. When left wheel touched down, aircraft (C-152) veered left. I took control and determined it would be safer to run off into the grass instead of risking a ground loop on the runway. No damage to the aircraft or airport facility occurred.

Narrative: STUDENT RECEIVING INSTRUCTION IN LNDGS. PREVIOUS TOUCH- AND-GO WAS A 'BOUNCED LNDG' SO I WAS CONCENTRATING ON FLARING. PREVIOUS XWINDS WERE 5 KTS, BUT HAD INCREASED TO 8-10 KTS. ACFT LANDED L OF CTRLINE WITH L DRIFT ON RWY 9, RYY. R WHEEL TOUCHED DOWN FIRST. WHEN L WHEEL TOUCHED DOWN, ACFT (C-152) VEERED L.
