Narrative:

Aircraft was cleared to taxi from lake hood taxiway V to runway 6L at taxiway right for departure on runway 6L at taxiway right. As I approached taxiway K on taxiway right the automatic-trim annunciator and chime activated. As I looked at the circuit breaker panel to reset the trim system I crossed taxiway K, glanced to my left and mistook it for taxiway left. I then continued across runway 6L mistaking it for taxiway K. As I stopped at the hold line for runway 6L I realized I was on taxiway G at runway 6R. At this time ground control informed me that I had crossed runway 6L. They then cleared me to call tower. Tower initially had me make a left turn to return to runway 6L in position for takeoff. Tower then informed there was a special VFR inbound and asked if I would accept runway 24L, at taxiway G for takeoff with 6000 ft remaining. I then made a 180 degree turn on runway 6L then a left turn to get on runway 24L for takeoff. Although I have used this route to runway 6L at taxiway right many times in the past, recent taxiway changes have been made at anc. Taxiway G has been moved between runway 6L and taxiway K, a short distance east. Also, taxiway right now goes straight across runway 6L to intersect taxiway G at runway 6R. Taxiway right previously had a right dogleg turn between taxiway K and runway 6L then stopped at runway 6L. The current airport diagram still shows previous taxiway alignment. I feel this incident was caused by my distraction while taxiing and trying to trouble- shoot the trim malfunction light at the same time. Previous experience at making the right dogleg turn then stopping at runway 6L caused me to continue across runway 6L as it now goes straight and I was not paying diligent attention to my surroundings.

Title: SMT AIR TAXI CROSSES ACTIVE RWY WITHOUT CLRNC WHEN TAXIING.

Narrative: ACFT WAS CLRED TO TAXI FROM LAKE HOOD TXWY V TO RWY 6L AT TXWY R FOR DEP ON RWY 6L AT TXWY R. AS I APCHED TXWY K ON TXWY R THE AUTO-TRIM ANNUNCIATOR AND CHIME ACTIVATED. AS I LOOKED AT THE CIRCUIT BREAKER PANEL TO RESET THE TRIM SYS I CROSSED TXWY K, GLANCED TO MY L AND MISTOOK IT FOR TXWY L. I THEN CONTINUED ACROSS RWY 6L MISTAKING IT FOR TXWY K. AS I STOPPED AT THE HOLD LINE FOR RWY 6L I REALIZED I WAS ON TXWY G AT RWY 6R. AT THIS TIME GND CTL INFORMED ME THAT I HAD CROSSED RWY 6L. THEY THEN CLRED ME TO CALL TWR. TWR INITIALLY HAD ME MAKE A L TURN TO RETURN TO RWY 6L IN POS FOR TKOF. TWR THEN INFORMED THERE WAS A SPECIAL VFR INBOUND AND ASKED IF I WOULD ACCEPT RWY 24L, AT TXWY G FOR TKOF WITH 6000 FT REMAINING. I THEN MADE A 180 DEG TURN ON RWY 6L THEN A L TURN TO GET ON RWY 24L FOR TKOF. ALTHOUGH I HAVE USED THIS RTE TO RWY 6L AT TXWY R MANY TIMES IN THE PAST, RECENT TXWY CHANGES HAVE BEEN MADE AT ANC. TXWY G HAS BEEN MOVED BTWN RWY 6L AND TXWY K, A SHORT DISTANCE E. ALSO, TXWY R NOW GOES STRAIGHT ACROSS RWY 6L TO INTERSECT TXWY G AT RWY 6R. TXWY R PREVIOUSLY HAD A R DOGLEG TURN BTWN TXWY K AND RWY 6L THEN STOPPED AT RWY 6L. THE CURRENT ARPT DIAGRAM STILL SHOWS PREVIOUS TXWY ALIGNMENT. I FEEL THIS INCIDENT WAS CAUSED BY MY DISTR WHILE TAXIING AND TRYING TO TROUBLE- SHOOT THE TRIM MALFUNCTION LIGHT AT THE SAME TIME. PREVIOUS EXPERIENCE AT MAKING THE R DOGLEG TURN THEN STOPPING AT RWY 6L CAUSED ME TO CONTINUE ACROSS RWY 6L AS IT NOW GOES STRAIGHT AND I WAS NOT PAYING DILIGENT ATTN TO MY SURROUNDINGS.
