Narrative:

While flying cle to dtw on U-26 at tackle intersection, ATC told, or we thought, told us 030 degrees on the heading. We turned to this heading but, this heading didn't make sense to us since dtw was landing runway 3. We thought about it a few mins and were about to ask the controller when the controller asked us our heading and we said 030 degrees. ATC then said he assigned us 300 degrees on the heading and to turn to a heading of 270 degrees. He then apologized for the misunderstanding and handed us over to the next controller. Factors that contributed was fatigue. We flew 7 hours 30 mins the day before, doing 9 legs and working 12 hours 40 min duty. On this day we started at XA00 am was half-way through a 7 leg day and a 12 hour duty period. Our air carrier has been flying us about 100 hours per month for the last 6 months and I am definitely burning out. Plus management has been very harsh on the employees and I have many worries on my mind.
