Narrative:
During taxi to runway, a commuter saab (Y) announces over ground control 'does air carrier X know that he pushed us back 3 ft, back there?' I responded that we were at maximum weight and at no time was I informed of nor did I see a saab aircraft behind me. Fact: a normal 2 engine taxi was initiated from ramp and taxi hold point. I can assure you that normal breakaway taxi thrust was used and ground control never referenced the saab to us. I question as to how the saab aircraft positioned itself to be so affected.
