Narrative:
While cruising at 2500 ft MSL on a course of 353 degrees, I encountered 2 military A-10 aircraft at a relative bearing of '0' degrees (on a collision course). I took immediate evasive action by initiating a right turn. The A-10 aircraft also took evasive action to the right. Contributing factor: since the military aircraft are camouflaged, they are very difficult to see until at close range. I assume the military aircraft were returning to their bases at battle creek and station from the chippewa MOA. Suggested correction action: military aircraft should not travel cross country at low levels outside of MOA's.

Title: WHILE IN CRUISE AT 2500 FT MSL, THE PLT OF A LIGHT ACFT TOOK EVASIVE ACTION IN ORDER TO AVOID 2 A-10'S APCHING HEAD-ON AT SAME ALT.
Narrative: WHILE CRUISING AT 2500 FT MSL ON A COURSE OF 353 DEGS, I ENCOUNTERED 2 MIL A-10 ACFT AT A RELATIVE BEARING OF '0' DEGS (ON A COLLISION COURSE). I TOOK IMMEDIATE EVASIVE ACTION BY INITIATING A R TURN. THE A-10 ACFT ALSO TOOK EVASIVE ACTION TO THE R. CONTRIBUTING FACTOR: SINCE THE MIL ACFT ARE CAMOUFLAGED, THEY ARE VERY DIFFICULT TO SEE UNTIL AT CLOSE RANGE. I ASSUME THE MIL ACFT WERE RETURNING TO THEIR BASES AT BATTLE CREEK AND STATION FROM THE CHIPPEWA MOA. SUGGESTED CORRECTION ACTION: MIL ACFT SHOULD NOT TRAVEL XCOUNTRY AT LOW LEVELS OUTSIDE OF MOA'S.
