Narrative:

Student pilot on second solo. I took off when 'cleared to position and hold' because I misunderstood controller. Thought that I heard cleared for takeoff. No other air traffic was involved because I held until the only landing traffic had cleared the way and was taxiing to the terminal. My third solo I made sure that I was understanding (and repeating) all ground and tower commands.

Narrative: STUDENT PLT ON SECOND SOLO. I TOOK OFF WHEN 'CLRED TO POS AND HOLD' BECAUSE I MISUNDERSTOOD CTLR. THOUGHT THAT I HEARD CLRED FOR TKOF. NO OTHER AIR TFC WAS INVOLVED BECAUSE I HELD UNTIL THE ONLY LNDG TFC HAD CLRED THE WAY AND WAS TAXIING TO THE TERMINAL. MY THIRD SOLO I MADE SURE THAT I WAS UNDERSTANDING (AND REPEATING) ALL GND AND TWR COMMANDS.
