Narrative:

Flight service asked if the aircraft could land itself if the pilots were incapacitated or dead. The captain explained about the autoplt, and automatic land and radio to ask for help. He also let her initiate the descent by pushing the autoplt descent button. If this was wrong then I'm sorry that I was in the cockpit when this happened. But I do think that the company should have a course or video program for the flight service on how the autoplts work, so that they don't have to ask, or be shown in the air.
