Narrative:
During taxi in, noted the forward entry door light illuminated. Advised captain, and called flight attendant on interphone. Door latch was pushed back down, and light went out. Contributing factor: airline unclr with flight attendants arrival procedure, attempting to improve on-time performance. Human factors: captain should possibly advise in advance he considers this action nonstandard.

Title: FORWARD PAX DOOR LIGHT ILLUMINATED DURING TAXI IN ON ACR LGT.
Narrative: DURING TAXI IN, NOTED THE FORWARD ENTRY DOOR LIGHT ILLUMINATED. ADVISED CAPT, AND CALLED FLT ATTENDANT ON INTERPHONE. DOOR LATCH WAS PUSHED BACK DOWN, AND LIGHT WENT OUT. CONTRIBUTING FACTOR: AIRLINE UNCLR WITH FLT ATTENDANTS ARR PROC, ATTEMPTING TO IMPROVE ON-TIME PERFORMANCE. HUMAN FACTORS: CAPT SHOULD POSSIBLY ADVISE IN ADVANCE HE CONSIDERS THIS ACTION NONSTANDARD.
