Narrative:

Trees at threshold to runway 24 at pwk are a hazard to landing aircraft, especially at night. Presence of trees have caused the landing threshold to be displaced which drastically shortens usable runway and may present an unforeseen challenge to an unfamiliar or inexperienced pilot.

Title: LCL PLT OF AN SMA SEL COMPLAINT REGARDING TALL TREES NEAR APCH END OF RWY 24 AT PWK.

Narrative: TREES AT THRESHOLD TO RWY 24 AT PWK ARE A HAZARD TO LNDG ACFT, ESPECIALLY AT NIGHT. PRESENCE OF TREES HAVE CAUSED THE LNDG THRESHOLD TO BE DISPLACED WHICH DRASTICALLY SHORTENS USABLE RWY AND MAY PRESENT AN UNFORESEEN CHALLENGE TO AN UNFAMILIAR OR INEXPERIENCED PLT.
