Narrative:

Damage to 2 propeller blades caused from unknown source probably during ground operations prior to takeoff from love field, dallas, tx on mar/xx/95. Suspected unknown foreign object damage impact during taxi operations, no cockpit indications observed, takeoff continued, no in-flight indications of damage to propeller tips, flight continued to destination, damage discovered after engine shutdown at destination. Engine start, taxi, and preflight run-up procedures progressed normally. We blocked out of gate at runway 17L. We taxied slower than normal because the taxiway was wet and reflective from the rain, and some flight fog existed near the approach end of runway 31L at dallas love field. We were cleared for departure and took off at runway 27L. Takeoff, departure, climb out, en route navigation, descent and landing at abilene regional airport, tx was normal and uneventful. We landed at abilene and taxied to the gate. After engine shut down, our ground operations person, detected damage to the tips of 2 propeller blades on our left engine. I visually inspected the propeller blades then initiated the company notification procedures.

Title: LTT PROP BLADE TIP DAMAGE DURING TAXI OUT FOR TKOF.

Narrative: DAMAGE TO 2 PROP BLADES CAUSED FROM UNKNOWN SOURCE PROBABLY DURING GND OPS PRIOR TO TKOF FROM LOVE FIELD, DALLAS, TX ON MAR/XX/95. SUSPECTED UNKNOWN FOREIGN OBJECT DAMAGE IMPACT DURING TAXI OPS, NO COCKPIT INDICATIONS OBSERVED, TKOF CONTINUED, NO INFLT INDICATIONS OF DAMAGE TO PROP TIPS, FLT CONTINUED TO DEST, DAMAGE DISCOVERED AFTER ENG SHUTDOWN AT DEST. ENG START, TAXI, AND PREFLT RUN-UP PROCS PROGRESSED NORMALLY. WE BLOCKED OUT OF GATE AT RWY 17L. WE TAXIED SLOWER THAN NORMAL BECAUSE THE TXWY WAS WET AND REFLECTIVE FROM THE RAIN, AND SOME FLIGHT FOG EXISTED NEAR THE APCH END OF RWY 31L AT DALLAS LOVE FIELD. WE WERE CLRED FOR DEP AND TOOK OFF AT RWY 27L. TKOF, DEP, CLBOUT, ENRTE NAV, DSCNT AND LNDG AT ABILENE REGIONAL ARPT, TX WAS NORMAL AND UNEVENTFUL. WE LANDED AT ABILENE AND TAXIED TO THE GATE. AFTER ENG SHUT DOWN, OUR GND OPS PERSON, DETECTED DAMAGE TO THE TIPS OF 2 PROP BLADES ON OUR L ENG. I VISUALLY INSPECTED THE PROP BLADES THEN INITIATED THE COMPANY NOTIFICATION PROCS.
