Narrative:

During the preflight inspection when I checked the aircraft logbook, I misread the maintenance inspection due date. It was not until we landed that I discovered that maintenance inspection was overdue. Upon discovering this, I immediately notified the maintenance department. In the future, I intend to be more careful when checking the inspection due dates.

Title: ACFT FLOWN BEYOND DUE DATE OF INSPECTION.

Narrative: DURING THE PREFLT INSPECTION WHEN I CHKED THE ACFT LOGBOOK, I MISREAD THE MAINT INSPECTION DUE DATE. IT WAS NOT UNTIL WE LANDED THAT I DISCOVERED THAT MAINT INSPECTION WAS OVERDUE.
