Narrative:

Upon normal landing on runway 12 in huntington, west virginia, the aircraft had a wheel vibration which rapidly became severe. As the aircraft slowed it abruptly tilted left as if the left main landing gear was collapsing. The aircraft stopped slightly off runway centerline. Approximately halfway down the runway. Precautionary egress utilizing the normal passenger air-stair and entryway was accomplished. There were no passenger or crew injuries. Egress was on the runway. No fuel spills were observed. After the incident, an aircraft inspection showed that the left main landing gear wheel assembly had departed the aircraft shortly after touchdown.
