Narrative:

Giving special attention to altitude control practice plus and minus 50 ft. Doing well. Using new 'airsport' transponder monitor and altitude alerter. Advised by csg approach to call mgm approach. Changed frequency in other communication radio but possibly distracted by passenger. Didn't switch radios and call. Called (maybe 5-10 mins later) by csg to call mgm - I was still on csg frequency. I have been reviewing my procedures, reminding myself to write down frequency changes and clrncs and somewhere in the process simply failed to complete the call.
