Narrative:

This was first officer's 1ST leg receiving IOE. While reviewing new ramms-1 arrival into new (2 days) dvx and discussing other training factors pertinent to IOE, we did not notice increased wind component from the west resulting in course deviation to the east. Approximately 36 mi north of mbw, ZDV asked if we were proceeding direct to mbw. We replied affirmative and applied additional wind correction. Remainder of flight was uneventful.
