Narrative:
Aircraft on customer demonstration flight from dal. Conducted several approachs to kama with missed approach/go around. On last missed approach while in right turn to 090 degrees and climbing to assigned altitude, PNF experienced communication failure and flight/director system failed to provide proper pitch guidance to assigned altitude. Aircraft leveled off for period of time at 7500 ft AGL (4400-4500 ft MSL) position pitch input made and flight director system reprogrammed to attain desired flight path. Communication problem resolved with change of handling pilot (original PNF had audio/transmit failure). Restored audio to other pilot when clear of kama area. Returned to kdal without further event. Discrepancy entered on maintenance sheets. Note: aircraft had been OTS for 30-60 days prior to flight. All equipment checked satisfactory on preflight.

Title: FLC LOST COM AND FLT DIRECTOR ON MISSED APCH.
Narrative: ACFT ON CUSTOMER DEMO FLT FROM DAL. CONDUCTED SEVERAL APCHS TO KAMA WITH MISSED APCH/GAR. ON LAST MISSED APCH WHILE IN R TURN TO 090 DEGS AND CLBING TO ASSIGNED ALT, PNF EXPERIENCED COM FAILURE AND FLT/DIRECTOR SYS FAILED TO PROVIDE PROPER PITCH GUIDANCE TO ASSIGNED ALT. ACFT LEVELED OFF FOR PERIOD OF TIME AT 7500 FT AGL (4400-4500 FT MSL) POS PITCH INPUT MADE AND FLT DIRECTOR SYS REPROGRAMMED TO ATTAIN DESIRED FLT PATH. COM PROB RESOLVED WITH CHANGE OF HANDLING PLT (ORIGINAL PNF HAD AUDIO/XMIT FAILURE). RESTORED AUDIO TO OTHER PLT WHEN CLR OF KAMA AREA. RETURNED TO KDAL WITHOUT FURTHER EVENT. DISCREPANCY ENTERED ON MAINT SHEETS. NOTE: ACFT HAD BEEN OTS FOR 30-60 DAYS PRIOR TO FLT. ALL EQUIP CHKED SATISFACTORY ON PREFLT.
